Boom Boom Afridi became holder of a record after the match against Australia, yesterday. He becomes the 6th highest wicket taker in the history of One Day International Cricket. Leading the chart is the sensational legendary spinner from Sri Lanka, Muttiah Muralitharan.
Afridi achieved this feat when he dismissed Steve Smith, who scored a blistering century in the match. Afridi was pretty much successful in the match and he bagged 3 wickets by conceding just 46 runs.
Apart from Smith, Afridi also dismissed David Warner and James Faulkner.
Afridi has turned himself into a regular spinner for his team and he is considered as a bowling all-rounder nowadays.
Afridi shares the 6th spot with the legendary Aussie pacer, Glenn McGrath who also has 381 wickets after his name.
